“Modern spectacle depicts what society could deliver, but in doing so rigidly separates what is possible from what is permitted.” 

The brief was to create a poster for an essay about a book. 

I chose Guy Debord’s “Society of the Spectacle”. 

In the essay I’m discussing how mass media and imagery has colonized our social life in the modern society, and how it’s affecting the masks that we are creating for ourselves, putting the society in the corner, triggering the degradation of knowledge and making the spectacle take over our minds with dreamy pictures and ideas.
